The Spiagga Porto Giunco at Villasimius in the southeast is like another world. Almost surreal. Behind a pale blue lagoon with wild flamingos stretches a strip of fine, white sandy beach and behind the turquoise blue sea - the most beautiful beach in Sardinia!
NOf course you are not alone in such a place (unfortunately). But the mood is (at least in the off season) still very relaxed. There is a small beach bar with a few nice beach chairs. Some other tourists and locals frolic on the beach. A beach shell for the kids would not be wrong, as it is very windy.
The water is heavenly to look at and crystal clear. Despite even cooler temperatures, you just have to jump in - dreamlike! The construction of another bar with chairs, however, suggests that it will not be quite so relaxed in the high season, a shame really. Still my favorite beach in Sardinia!
We have three weeks a round trip in the south made (with kids) and one more discovered beautiful beach! Have you ever been to Sardinia? How did you like it and what are your favorite places? I love Sardinia and would always come back!
