If you want to take a little break away from the tourist trails or just spend a relaxing holiday in Austria with your family, you will find luxury and bathing fun!
Dhuts, a sauna, a heated pool and around you the mountains! A real wow experience on 1.200 altimeters. Not to mention the luxurious furnishings of the chalets.
A real hideaway!
Even from the outside, the houses look really cute and I'm in shock immediately. In the breathtaking mountains and in this sweet plant.
There are two chalets each with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and one with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. The living room is spacious and everything from cozy wood!
There is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, an electric tiled stove and a small couch with TV, all very high quality. In front of each chalet is a wooden bench on the terrace. We feel right at home.
The highlight is the huge, heated pool right outside the front door.
Not only the kids had fun here in all weathers. Also I was in the zen mode when I am quite lonely in the morning with mountain panorama my tracks are swum.
Who likes, can also do that Shared sauna use with relaxation loungers in the gable. I'm not the sauna fan. The sauna house and the pool can also be used by the hotel guests next door, I did not bother in the low season.
Behind the houses, there are still a large meadow for romping, chilling or for dogs (yes, four-legged friends are welcome here). Various dormers on the grounds complete the feel-good experience.
Absolute luxury for me: the breakfast!
A delicacies breakfast is included in the price and you can select every day by note something different from the abundant offer. A real pleasure. From salmon, Bircher muesli, eggs, cold meats and juices is really everything! And you do not have to go shopping. The breakfast basket is delivered every morning. I could get used to that.
If you do not like cooking in the evening, you can eat delicious in the hotel. Markus, the chef, really conjures delicious dishes on the table. His wife Anita takes care of the whole property.
The chalets are in the middle of Pitztal in the village Meadow located around only mountains and a small river. If you want to explore the beautiful surroundings, there is also one for you Hiking / ski bus right outside the front door.
Cost for the small chalet from € 130,00 per night for 2 persons
Activities in the area:
My advice: Adventure hike for children to the Söllberg waterfall
Small, but fine leads this relatively easy loop in about 45 minutes to a rushing waterfall and back again. The trail starts about 100 meters behind the chalets. It goes slowly uphill through forest and scrub, sometimes a bit tricky with railing, but for our 5jährigen no problem (the little 2-year-old had to stay in the Kraxe definitely).
Highlight is then half way before the waterfall a section directly on the river - Attention, you get wet here and that makes the kids a lot of fun! The last part leads again a little steeper uphill to the Observation platform with great views over the waterfall. Back then it goes back the same way, but this time after the wet spot just over the bridge. The way back then leads for about 20 minutes through a haunted forest with marshy soil. Totally idyllic and easy to walk. Once at the bottom you have to walk about 200 meters on the road back to the property.
How do you spend your holidays in Austria? Rather luxurious or simple, active or lazy? I'm looking forward to more tips!
