Naxian cousin: Greek kitchen reinvented!

Petrino Beach Restauarant on Naxos

My absolute favorite on Naxos is the Petrino! You sit totally cozy under wild wine in a stone house just a hundred meters from Petrino Beach. The kitchen is down-to-earth and creative with a touch of gourmet!

The atmosphere is right, the service is super friendly (unfortunately not always so on Naxos) and the food a dream. The card reads like a work of art, we do not know what to order first. Even a simple dish like the meatballs with fries for our son are a treat for the eyes and palate.

As an appetizer we order local, melted cheese, delicious! Then a Ceasar's Salad with spices from the garden and grilled vegetables (Briam). Both really very tasty. The wine is great and at the end there is still homemade ice cream. Mmhhh. The prices are really ok, we pay to third with drinks about 40 €. Then we jump into the sea first!

On our second visit there is tuna fillet fried on the spot, again the melted cheese and a greek salad. Everything a poem!
