Admittedly, it is touristy, it is not an insider tip and the beach is not deserted either. Nevertheless, or precisely because of this, this small, green oasis with a large pool and right on Plaka Beach is a great starting point to explore the island. My favorite place on Naxos at Plaka Beach:
For three weeks we travel around the Greek islands of Mykonos, Naxos, Ios and Santorini with a backpack and two children without big plans and let ourselves be surprised. Three bays in the south of the island, which could not be more dreamlike. Despite the fresh breeze and a little autumnal temperature, you just have to jump into the crystal-clear water!
So I imagined a nice, Greek accommodation. Very great design with great attention to detail garnished with hearty owners. A dream! We did not want to leave ...
If you do not feel like hiking for two hours to the highest peak on the island, you can take an 30 of minutes between goats, sheep and wild wine for a photo trip.
The location is really paradise! Better right on the beach of Plaka Beach. Simple, down to earth cuisine with priceless views!
My absolute favorite on Naxos is the Petrino! You sit totally cozy under wild wine in a stone house just a hundred meters from Petrino Beach. The kitchen is down-to-earth and creative with a touch of gourmet!
Whether for peace seekers, water sports, sunbathers or families. There is something for everyone in my favorites.
The cute, small maisonette apartment Ana-Maria is located on a hill between Agia Anna and Kalo Livadi on the south-east coast of the island, far from the hustle and bustle of tourists. My tip for an apartment in Mykonos:
